Praying Home the Prodigals is grounded in the anointing God has placed on this season that is summarized in Luke 1:17 that this generation is to go forth in the spirit and power of Elijah to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and prepare a people for righteousness. There have been more miracles recorded in the past fifty years -- and more decisions for Jesus -- than in the previous centuries combined. But this all has a purpose and that purpose is to facilitate the harvest depicted in Luke 10:2. Praying Home the Prodigals is about making the changes in our own mindset -- repentance -- that prepares us to become people of this season. It offers that call alongside practical strategies for becoming ambassadors of Christ's reconciliation and thus winsome evangelists.
