Coaching leaders is an intentional process of listening, inquiry, feedback, and encouragement that empowers leaders to help others gain focus, make strong decisions, and live out their God-given potential.
What will this coaching class offer? Unlike mentors who dispense expertise to others, coaches distill awareness from others. The Bible describes this skill in Prov. 20:5: “A plan in the heart of a person is like deep water, but one of understanding draws it out.” Because studies show that ongoing coaching offers a 300% better return than training alone, this class is an invaluable, hands-on opportunity for those wanting to be better equipped with the competence and confidence to assist their clients, colleagues, family, and friends close the gap between where they are and where they want to be.
Presented by Professor Myra Perrine, Ph.D.
Dr. Myra Perrine is a LIFE coach. With clients locally and internationally, Myra has served since 1996 with Church Resource Ministries, an organization committed to raising up leaders for the church worldwide. She holds an ACC Credential with the International Coach Federation, a Doctorate of Ministry, and is the founder of “The 3D Perspective,” which aids others in discovering how they were Designed by God to Dream with God and step into the fullness of their Destiny in God. Myra has spoken and taught in some 40 nations, and is currently an adjunct professor at Simpson University and Tozer Theological Seminary. She lives in Redding with her husband, Dan, who directs Advancing Leaders International, a ministry working to change the face of education in third world countries (www.advancingleaders.org).
